What We Do
Perennial Gardens:
Volunteers work under supervision in the gardens Monday + Tuesday mornings. Activities include weeding, mulching, planting bulbs and perennials, as well as watering. The work can be physically demanding, but there is tremendous cooperation + comradery. On the ground teaching will enhance your gardening skills.
Rose Maze:
The Rose Maze Team Members share a passion for both tending to the roses and seeing he joy they bring to all who stroll through the garden on a daily basis. Team members are at the Maze every Tuesday and Wednesday begging in early Spring for garden clean-up and rose pruning. In Summer we enjoy the blooms, deadhead the roses and keep the gardens as weed-free as possible. As the season comes to a close in the Fall, we prepare the roses for their dormant winter period.
